While buying reel-to-reel tapes in bulk can be cost effective, note that these are still rare and vintage items, and the bigger the collection, the more you’ll have to pay. Such is the competition with other buyers. However, for our purposes here, “bulk” and “lots” means any sale with two or more tapes in it. Sometimes a seller will be offering a larger collection of highly sought-after titles. Of course, these will be the subject of more intense scrutiny and attention, so if you’re lucky enough to see one, go for it.
Enjoy searching for the reel-to-reel tape lots that strike your fancy. If you see a good offer, take it. Each sale of these high-quality, great-sounding collectibles is unique and you may not see one like it again for a long time.
