Bermuda crown coins (1959/1964)
for collectors and other buyers

Before beginning its modern era of issuing its own currency, Bermuda had crown coins minted in both 1959 and 1964. Collectors of Bermudan coins now often have en example of each of these crown coins in their collections. Both coins were made of silver and had a value of one crown. Proofs were available of each, with much lower mintage and consequently much greater value among collectors today. The coins are in the Krause catalog as KM#13 and #14, respectively. The 1959 crown coin commemorated the 350th year anniversary of Britain’s support of Bermuda.
