Thousands discovered Mega Ministore in March
Apr 1, 2009 More articles: MMS News (46)
Taking a preliminary look at our statistics for March 2009 traffic, we see that it nearly doubled from February. Thousands of people (not robots or spiders or other crawlers) used the site and found thousands of unique, interesting items from a variety of reputable eBay sellers.
Our most popular category seems to have been old boat antiques, with second being somewhat of a toss-up between a few others, including reel to reel recorders and Native American jewelry. Several other categories are starting to be discovered too, and we have plans to add many more in the future (we more than doubled our listings in March thanks in large part to our extensive stamps, coins and paper money collectibles sections, each of which list hundreds of countries and areas as sub-categories).
Are you a blogger? You can help us grow as well as get traffic for your blog and earn some money in our super easy revenue sharing system. Choose a page that we need an article for (list here), submit a short article (you can include a link at the end) and if accepted you will keep 100% of the page's revenue for 30 days with no limit (though you are guaranteed a minimum). Our highest-earning categories in March were over $100; not bad for writers who contributed a simple 300-word article!
Anyway, whether you are a shopper or a writer/contributor, thanks for helping make MMS a useful and fast-growing part of shopping on the web. We've got some more cool stuff in store for April so add us to your bookmarks and check back here. We also might add some more details about our March statistics when we've had a chance to look over them a little better.
(By the way, a note about word counts for our articles -- most have a requirement of 300 words, which for measurement's sake is a little less than this post.)
