Antoninianus ancient silver and bronze Roman coins

The so-called antoninianus coin was first made of silver, and later bronze. It was worth 2 denarii, or 32 asses; it first issued in 215 AD. Despite its relatively short history (Diocletian discontinued the antoninianus in the 280s) these coins are numerous on the market today, and you can easily browse the antoniniani for sale here and pick out the ones that you personally fancy.
